“It’s okay,” I whisper, my forehead to hers. She nods, concern still written in her features as I kiss her again. It’s so strange seeing Bo this way, so nervous and unsure. She’s the confident one in the bedroom — commanding, strong. As Alex’s hand snakes its way into my hair and he pulls my mouth from Bo’s to his own, I wonder if he’ll be taking the captain’s chair tonight.
My heart hammers beneath my ribcage as I taste him, new and exotic. Bo’s lips trail down my neck to my cleavage as she palms the space between my thighs. Moaning into Alex’s mouth at the touch, he pops the button on his jeans without breaking our kiss. I hear his zipper next, and then his shorts are on the floor. He kicks them away, just as Bo pulls me from him, her hand tugging at my tank top. I lift my arms and she rips it up and over, tossing it to the side before making quick work of my bra.
It’s almost too much. We’re all hands and mouths — stripping, kissing, touching, stripping more. Somewhere along the way we find the stairs, which lead up to a master bedroom Alex is clearly occupying. The four post bed is built with dark wood and lined with deep red accents that match the comforter Bo and I slide onto easily, feeling the cool fabric against our skin. Alex makes his way between us, propping himself up against the headboard and taking each of us by the waist as we kiss over him.
Bo’s breaths are still shaky, her arms trembling as she holds herself steady on the bed. We’re leaning over Alex, our tongues tangled, while he slowly strokes himself and watches. I massage her tongue with mine, each kiss an attempt to bring her energy back to mine. Just when I have her there, Alex’s hand moves from my waist to behind my thigh. It hovers there for just a moment before I feel his fingers penetrate me, and from Bo’s reaction, his other hand is doing the same to her.
“I don’t know if I can do this,” she whispers between our kisses. I pull back, panting at the feel of Alex’s fingers inside me and how turned on I am by Bo’s kisses.
“You don’t have to do anything to him. Or vice versa. Just focus on me.”
With that, I break contact from Alex and pull Bo with me, rolling over until I’m on my back and Bo’s straddling me. I love the way the skin stretches across her petite hips as she rubs against me, building a friction that will drive her to the edge. Alex takes my cue, moving between my legs and spreading my thighs open to him as I maneuver Bo up my body. When her knees are on either side of my head, I slide my hands down her neck, her arms, until I lace my hands in hers. Placing them on the headboard above us, I curl her fingers, locking them in place.
“Hold on tight,” I whisper, licking my lips.

Palm South University (Season Two, Episode Four) by Kandi Steiner
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: 5

A Spring Break to remember!!

Wow! This was the best episode so far this season!! It starts off with a bang and never stops.  A wild, wanton, and wicked weekend for PSU as they invade Key West ;)  And now a bit about the story...

Everyone is off to the beach and the diets were so worth it! All you favorites show up in this episode.  Some secrets are exposed, some shared, and some only uttered in thought... Between basking in the sun by day and drinking like a fish by night the KBB girls, Adam, and O Chi guys have a blast.  You'll never guess the surprise they come home too...

Favorite passages:
 - The truth is, there are some challenges we face in our lives that completely change us.
 - Oh my God, did I just call him my boyfriend?
 - But for now, on a blanket in the sand, beneath a sky of stars, we have tonight.

Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).

When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.

The survivor of a high school sabotage that made her flee her hometown at sixteen, Hayden Tate is no stranger to bullying. Now she has returned to Lake Tahoe to take on her dream job with a degree and a backbone. But her newfound strength is pushed to the limit as she fights to hold her own against the old boys club of Blue Casino. Adam Cade is the prince of Lake Tahoe, born into one of the wealthiest families in the area. He’s used to doing what he wants when he wants. So when his powerful father threatens to cut him off without a dime unless he uses his Ivy League degree for a job his father got him at Blue Casino, Adam capitulates. Hayden, the head of HR, hates Adam on the spot, finding every way possible to put him in his place—and suddenly the lackey job his father found him gets interesting. Adam’s life of leisure lacks substance, and even though he’s not willing to give it up, he wouldn’t mind the distraction Hayden presents. But when the casino’s sinister inner workings begin to reveal themselves and Adam is caught between the powerful executives he works for and the lovely Hayden, his loyalties are divided. Blue Casino offers Adam a lucrative career where he wouldn’t need his father’s money for the lifestyle he’s accustomed to, but at what cost? Hayden’s silly side shines through when Adam least expects it, charming his jaded heart, and forcing him to face a morality he never knew he had. For the first time in Adam’s life he finds himself yearning for something real, but will he risk losing everything to have it?

Adrenaline (Speed #2) by Kelly Elliott *~*~*~*~* Blog Tour, Review, & Excerpt

Release Day: March 22

Malcolm Wallace lived for the adrenaline rush. If he wasn’t living life on the edge, he wasn’t living.

He had no time for relationships, let alone love.

adrenaline_amazonWhen one event changes Malcolm’s entire future, he must turn to the one person who makes him doubt his entire philosophy on life.

Paislie Pruitt.

She’s beautiful.

She’s strong.

She’s the one rush Malcolm never saw coming.

I pulled Black Jack to a stop as I looked out over the hill country. There was nothing like being back at home in Texas and on the ranch. No early morning strategizing meetings with Dalton. No pressure from the sponsors to be on my A game. Nothing to worry about at all.

 Just nature.

“W-where are we going?” she asked as she glanced over her shoulder.
Opening the laundry room door, I pulled her in and pushed her against the wall.
“I need to feel you, Paislie … taste you.”
Each breath was forced as the rush grew bigger. I’d been waiting for so long for this moment.
My hand slid up her dress and moved softly along her thigh where I brushed my knuckles across the thin lace material. Son-of-a-bitch. My cock was throbbing I wanted her so badly.
My fingers pushed the material to the side as Paislie lifted her leg, allowing me better access.
I slipped two fingers in and moaned as my dick hardened painfully more. “Fucking hell. You’re soaking wet.”
Her head dropped back as she whispered, “Please. Malcolm, I’ve waited so long for you.”
My lips moved along her neck, placing soft kisses as I slowly moved my fingers in and out of her. Sliding another one in, I moved faster. “Yes,” she hissed as she pumped her hips. I didn’t want her coming yet. The first time she came, it was either going to be on my cock or my tongue.
Pulling my fingers from her, Paislie let out a whimper. I lifted her up and set her on the counter. It was going to kill my leg, but I needed to taste her.
“Lay back, Paislie. I want to taste you … now.”
Her eyes widened with delight as she smiled and laid back. I lifted her beautiful gown and moaned when I saw the garter and panties.
“Jesus, you’re perfect,” I moaned as I pushed her panties out of the way and licked up her pussy. Paislie gasped and grabbed onto my hair.
“Oh … dear … God,” she panted.
I’ve given plenty of women oral sex, but this was different. So very different. Paislie tasted sweet, addictive, like a drug. I instantly craved more as I licked and sucked her more. Her body quivered and I knew she was close. All I would need to do is concentrate on her clit and push my fingers in.
The knock on the door had us both freezing. Paislie lifted her head as we looked at one another. She shook her head and mouthed, Are you fucking kidding me?

Zero to 200 in no time flat!

Race paced story of childhood friendship growing to the happy ever after kind of love!  Besides speeding around the track they run into a few speed bumps along the way.  But sometimes the harder something is to do, the more reward in the end!  And now a bit about the story...

Emmit Lewis has just won his first NASCAR race and all he is searching for is his pumpkin, Adaline Morgan.  Finally their eyes connect, she hides her sadness quickly, and happily launches into his arms.  The happiness is soon extinguished hours later though when she turns down his marriage proposal.  His dream is NASCAR and he has made it!  But her dream is nursing school and that can't happen while following the NASCAR circuit.  But three years later, when he is a successful driver, she has finished school, and is back at the track to see if their love has burned or will quickly ignite!!!

Favorite passage: “Please tell me you’re not going to leave ’cause I’m dying to know what happens! I’m a romance reader and this is like a live action romance book!”

The best rush will be with the wait...

Awesome follow-up to Ignite! While there isn't the mystery there was in Ignite, there is the pain and danger I kept waiting for in Ignite.  Loved this one even more <3 ... And now a bit about the story...

After seeing Emmit get his happy ever after, Malcolm is still sneaking around with Ashley, Emmit's sister, but they both know it isn't going anywhere.  Then one day he runs into a fan with a VIP pass.  He can't get her out of his mind and after a little detective work her invites her, Paisley, to a date at the track in her home town.  The sparks will fly on this one as NASCAR's biggest man whore and a once thinking of becoming a nun orphan hit it off!

Favorite passages:
 - “You just asked, what was that chick’s name. Girls are not chickens, Malcolm.”
 - “Always be honest, Malcolm. It’s a very enduring quality about a person.”
 - “When you’ve been lied to your whole life by people, especially men, you learn how to read when people are telling the truth and when they’re not.”
 - “You were worth the wait.”

BECAUSE
A Seven Year Itch Novel
By Jennifer Foor

Because_mock1b
I’ve heard if you can make it through the first seven years of marriage you’ve made it past the tough part and it’s smooth sailing.
Whoever said that was an idiot.
I’ve been married for seven years, and in that time I’ve waited for my immature husband to grow up and become a responsible man.
It still hasn’t happened, and I’m at the end of my rope. I need him to be a father to our child, not someone who needs his own toys to be content.
I want a partner, not a guy more concerned about his friends than his wife.
This is my marriage, and before I throw in the towel I’ve decided to do something drastic to make it happen.
I’m Shayla Vincent and this is my story.

Because (Seven - Year Itch Series #4) by Jennifer Foor
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: 5

Sometimes just because isn't enough...

When is enough no longer enough? For this couple seven years has passed and they are no longer extremely happy. But Jennifer pulls you in quickly and as I read the story and tried to pick sides the years just streamed down my checks. And now a bit about the story...

Getting pregnant in high school wasn't in either of their plans, but they still love each other. They have a wonderful seven year old daughter. Only problem is the lack of trust, feeling ugly, and the need for trust. These two can't go a day without something going wrong. They love their daughter and each other, but between bouts of fighting and sex they just hate each other. Will they make it work or call it quits...

Favorite passages:
- What’s meant to be will find a way.
- “... if you love each other you can overcome adversity, no matter what the case. Don’t give up without trying every route first.”
- As fast as a walk can be without turning into a canter, I haul ass out of the bar.
- When life gives you lemons do you make lemonade or run to the grocery store and trade them in for something better?
- “You sound like your making custody arrangements,” I say. “I am. With your vagina.”

"What I can’t understand in this moment is why you’ve been ignoring me.” His dark eyes are hard on mine. “You said it’s mostly because you’re sick. What else?”
I take another bite, mainly to buy myself another minute to think. “Well, remember how you fucked me into admitting I was jealous over Spencer?” He nods. “I, uh, I saw you two together. At Pie Heaven.”
Jarrett sighs, rubbing his face. “I told you she’s just my boss’ daughter. We surfed that morning and grabbed lunch after.”
I shake my head. “Stop. You don’t need to explain yourself to me. I know we’re not together, and that’s why I’ve been avoiding you, because I shouldn’t feel jealous over who I see you with, Jarrett. Jealousy is dangerous. It leads to more intense feelings.”
He watches me carefully, chewing the inside of his cheek. “Come here.”
“Ew, I’m so gross right now.”
Jarrett fights a smile. “Jess, come here.”
I’m hesitant, but eventually comply, setting my bowl on the coffee table and maneuvering until we’re both lying on the couch spooning. Jarrett wraps his arms around me, tight, pulling me into him and kissing my bare shoulder. “You are the most stubborn woman I have ever met.”
I snicker, pulling the blanket up under my chin. “How long before I chase you away?”
He’s quiet for a moment, his free hand running through my hair, lulling me into a sedative state. “You can’t chase someone who’s not running.”

I HEART BOOKS REVIEW

Palm South University (Season Two, Episode Three) by Kandi Steiner
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: 5

What's wrong with being good?

This week's episode is all feelings and sparks lots of questions. Why does the paparazzi focusing on Skylar's looks throw her? Why does Cassie care if everyone thinks see is a goody two shoes? Why is Jess afraid to call Jarrett? Why does Bear walk away from two women in his bed? And now a bit about the story...

It's time for another party! Big surprise, right? Cassie is determined to turn heads and get drunk, turning to Whiskey even though it is a wine party. She does turn lots of heads, luckily Grayson shows up before anything too bad goes down. Taking her back to his place to snuggle. Though they are not the only two who ends up snuggled together for the night...

Favorite passages:
- Confidence is not a virtue I possess, but it’s almost like it came along with the heels and makeup tonight.
- “Whiskey works faster.”
- I’m still trying to process the fact that I have two girls in my bed right now.
