Jase (Kings of Korruption MC #3) by Geri Glenn *~*~*~*~*~* Blog Tour

IT'S LIVE!

Ellen

My life is far from perfect, but I’m ok with that.  I’ve worked hard to get to where I am.  I have a cute little house, a job that fulfills me, and a little boy that I love more than life itself.  I pride myself on being a strong, independent woman, and letting a man fix my problems for me just isn’t the way I work.

I had Jase pegged from the second I laid eyes on him.  The man’s a player and I have no intentions of being played.  Been there, done that.  I don’t care that he has a killer smile and an ass I could happily spend all day bouncing quarters off of.  His interest is kind of flattering in the beginning – and then it’s not.

Jase

People say I don’t take anything in life seriously.  They’re probably right.  I’ve seen the shit life can throw at you and I refuse to let it touch me.  I live free – I have fun.  People say I don’t respect women.  Well, they’re wrong about that.  I love women almost as much as they love me.  I love the way they smell, the way they taste, and I especially love they way they feel when I get them under me.

I’d met Ellen months ago, and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to get her out of my head.  She’s gorgeous, funny and has an incredible ass.  The only problem is that I’ve never had to work so hard to get a woman into my bed … but we’ll get there.  I’ll make sure of it.  She doesn’t know it yet, but my brand of playing is just what she needs.

I HEART BOOKS REVIEW

Jase (Kings of Korruption MC #3) by Geri Glenn
Review by Jennifer Ballam
Stars: 5

I've loved each and every book that this author has released so far, with each one getting better than the last. This one is no different.

Jase is a complete man ‘hoe’ and is happy in his life of endless women. All he has to do is smile and they're falling at his feet. That is until Ellen comes along.

Having been burnt at an early age leaving her a single mother struggling to provide for her son she is determined that she'll end up with a nice dependable man. Jase isn't that man, or is he.

The story moves at a good pace and the relationship that builds between the H and h is fantastically written. I loved the final showdown between Jase and Ellen’s ex, in a weird way it made my heart melt!!

I cannot wait for the next instalment. With the little tease at the end of this book I just know it's going to be explosive.

Charlotte

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve taken care of everyone around me, including my self-centered older sister, Anna. When her poor choices make us targets of the Devil’s Rejects Motorcycle Club, I grab her and we run like hell. A new city, a new job, a new life. It’s almost perfect – and then I meet Ryker.

He’s gorgeous, rugged and too cocky for his own damned good. But he’s a biker – exactly the type of man I’ve been running from. I have no business getting involved with a man like him. Too bad I can’t get him out of my head.

Ryker

As V.P. of the Kings of Korruption MC, I know all about violence and loss. In my world, getting involved with a woman never turns out well. Avoiding commitment isn’t something I have to work at – it’s just a way of life. Then I meet Charlotte. Drawn to her kindness and beauty, I know there’s no place for her in my world. I have to let her go.

Finding Charlotte battered and bloody late one night, I go against my own beliefs, making it my mission to protect her. The Devils are out for blood and it’s Charlotte’s they want. Maybe I can’t keep her but I will put my life on the line to keep her safe. If not, I face losing the only woman that’s ever made me feel alive.

Laynie

Smile when you’re happy, cry when you’re sad and don’t ever be afraid to try something new. These are the words I live by. We only get one shot at this life, and I intend to live the best one I can. I had it all growing up. Popularity, beauty, great friends and a perfect family. But then one day, it all changed – now I’m blind. I’ve never let that stop me though. Life is an adventure and I believe in making the best out of every moment.

I spend my days with a job I love, online friends and a sexy new book boyfriend every week. I know in my heart that someday, my own prince charming will come along and appreciate me for exactly who I am – I won’t settle for anything less. Meeting Tease seems like the beginning of my fairy tale … until he opens his mouth.

Tease

I don’t trust people – ever. Every single person I’ve ever loved has contributed, in one way or another, to the shit show that is my life. Keeping everyone I meet at arm’s length, I work hard at being the star of most people’s nightmares. People think I’m a monster and honestly – they’re right.

Laynie’s beauty is what caught my eye, but her personality is what held it. Laynie’s the only person to ever see past my appearance and break down the walls I’ve worked so hard to build. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her. When things heat up with a rival club, and Laynie gets caught in the crossfire, I will unleash hell on earth to protect the woman who makes me want to trust someone again. When bullets start flying and bodies start piling up, keeping her safe may be the last thing I ever do.

Geri Glenn is the debut author of the Kings of Korruption MC Series. The first book, titled Ryker, is releasing on August 14, 2015, and can be read as a standalone.

Geri has been an avid reader for as long as she can remember. She can usually be found curled up in a comfy chair, reading on her iPad both day and night. Geri is an incurable night owl, and it's not uncommon for her to still be awake, reading at 4 am, just because she can't put the book down!

Geri loves all genres of fiction, but her passion is anything romantic or terrifying; basically anything that can get her heart pumping. This passion has bled out onto her laptop, and became the Kings of Korruption.

Writing this first book in the series knocked off the #1 thing on Geri's bucket list, and publishing it has been an absolute dream come true. She hopes you love the Kings as much as she does.

Bound_3D

BOUND_AmazonHow many times can someone be forgiven? How long does it take for a man to change? What if the person you're married to isn't who you're in love with anymore? What if infidelities have caused a person to lose trust and hope in their relationship? I don't recognize the woman I've become. I'm bored. Lonely. Unsatisfied. Weak. It's crippling me. After seven years of marriage I'm throwing in the towel and starting over. Bennington Winthrop is my boss. He's made it clear he wants me. When I think my life can't get more complicated I become involved in a sexual relationship that both terrifies and excites me. I can't resist the pleasure, or the pain he gives me. I need to feel something again, even if I get lost along the way. I have to decide if his lifestyle is the change I'm looking for or something I need to run from and never look back. I'm Macy Stone, and this is how I let go of the woman I used to be in order to discover hidden desires I never knew could exist. My only obstacle now is coming to terms with the consequences, and being able to accept who I've become.

As our smiles settle, I grip the glass a little tighter. “I didn’t come here to celebrate.”
“I figured,” she responds, eyes on her own hands. “Listen, I get it. It was Spring Break, we were both drinking. It’s all good.”
I cock a brow, setting my glass down on the kitchen island. It’s Sunday night and the house is mostly quiet, save for the faint sound of giggling coming from the rooms upstairs.
“It wasn’t a mistake, Cassie. It wasn’t an accident or a drunken decision. Ever since I kissed you at the concert last semester, I’ve wanted to do it again.”
She wants me to apologize for the kiss. She thinks I regret it. I don’t.
“How can you say that?” she asks, green eyes wide. “You were with Skyler.”
“I know, I know.” I pinch the bridge of my nose, not really knowing how to explain what I need to. “It’s not that I didn’t care for her — that I don’t still care for her. But I also care about you. And that night on the beach, it was like the biggest moment of clarity for me.”
Cassie drops her glass to the counter and brings her fingernails to her teeth, nibbling, eyes on the tile floor.
“You can’t do this, Adam. I mean, what are you even asking me?” Her voice is shaky when she finally speaks.
“I don’t know.” I sigh, knowing none of this is coming out right. But what do I really expect? I was dating her Big Sister just a few short weeks ago and now, what? I’m going to ask her to be with me? “I guess I’m just saying that I get what you said at the Fratalina Wine Mixer now.” I shrug, lifting my eyes to hers. “You confuse me, too.”

I HEART BOOKS REVIEW

Palm South University (Season Two, Episode Six) by Kandi Steiner
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: 5

Time for formals and finals!

I can't believe the semester is almost over.  It seems like we just started and already it is over too soon, much like an awesome vacation... This episode is one heck of a finale! Some we expect, from reading Black Number Four, but some are quite shocking.  And now a bit about the story...

Lots going on in this one: Bear is trying to get over Shawna.  Cassie is torn between Adam and Grayson. Erin battles with moving on.  Jess pushes against Jarrett and fights love.  Ashlei struggles to pull all the pieces back together.  It will all be figured out by finals, with a shock here and there...

But what is next? Will Kandi give us a summer mini series or does Season Three pick up after BN4... questions, questions :)

Favorite passages:
 - “How the hell do you ever expect me to not be selfish when it comes to you?”
-...there’s nothing that can stop us now.

Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).

When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.

Family ... you can live without them

Now that Spring Break is over, it's back to the grind.  The gang is gearing up for family weekend at PSU.  Secrets are shared and relationships torn apart... And now a bit about the story...

Clayton is up visiting Bear, and with many other parents and siblings.  Three secrets come out, each causing havoc on those involved.  Thru the drama there is quite a bit of comedy and jealousy though... if only we knew what really happened on Spring Break!!!

Favorite passages:
- “Make sure you call up all the hottest sorority babes because Baby Bear is looking for someone to hibernate with tonight.”
- Which means it’s my turn to step up to the plate and put on my mom pants.
