Info on Vicki & the lymphoma she is battling:

This auction is being held to help Vicki & her family relocate and make it through the next few months as their landlord is selling their current home and they need to move asap.
Vicki has children living at home & is currently still unable to work outside the home, as she has horrible bouts with nausea & dizzy spells, however she still promotes authors & does reviews (Platinum Book Reviews) from her bedside to show her incredible love for the literary community and she love her indie authors to pieces!

Vicki was diagnosed with non-hodgkins b-cell follicular lymphoma in October of 2012 and went through 2 six week sessions of radiation, one of the sessions coinciding with a 6 week session of chemo & 1 eight week session of immunotherapy suppression & she is currently in Week 2 of the second six week session of immunotherapy suppression, as of now.
Lymph nodes targeted are on her left chest wall/under-arm area & the radiation was targeted directly to the area. The chemo was given in high doses as it was starting to spread to her liver but they pulled it back & have pronounced the radiation & chemo a near success and are doing the immunotherapy to remove the last aggressive traces of it..

Changes on I Heart Books Official facebook...

Well, honestly we dont plan on changing much! Our system seems to work for us and you guys. We have played with the idea of using a codeword on the facebook page for giveaways... Lol. Something like "She'll be doing a "Booty Pop" on her page when she reaches ___ fans!" or "For a "Booty Poppin'" bookmark, go....". Would that be too confusing? We appreciate your input on this one! IHB doesnt want to change too much, but we also dont want to get closed down. That would suck!

Author Takeovers...

They will still be done mainly on our I Heart Books Facebook page but we will also be doing a mini blog Takeover for each one here! We will be attempting to do 2 Takeovers a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the near future. Hope you guys REALLY like them! Lol.
