I HEART BOOKS REVIEW
Review by Dana Marie
Stars: # 5
Well, Pamela Aares has done it again. Thrown By Love is another great sweet read with just enough drama and hotness. In my opinion, this book was even better than the first.
The story was great and the characters fit right in perfectly. Tying in from the first book is Scotty Alex Tavonesi’s friend and teammate. Scotty Donovan is a pitcher and he has just been traded. The team he has been traded to is the one Chloe McNalley has just inherited. She is a cosmology professor that never expected her father to give her the team in the first place, let alone expect her to take over the reins. Even more surprising Scotty was evidently apart of the inheritance in a manner of speaking. Chloe feels that she might not be the person this teams needs as an owner but is sticking to her guns and keeping the team.
The descriptions were well played. Everything from a breeze to being under the stars was well thought out and you felt like you were right there. The characters and their feelings were straight forward and you could definitely relate to everything that was going on. The perfect balance is what you will find with this read.
Thrown By Love can be a standalone, but I highly recommend reading book one first. So dive into a little bit of baseball, love, and the cosmos and grab your copy today to find out if rumors and sabotage put an end to the blossoming relationship between Chloe and Scotty. You won’t be disappointed.
