I HEART BOOKS REVIEW
Aim For Love (The Tavonesi Series #5) by Pamela Aares
Review by Dana Marie
Stars: 5
This is definitely one of my favorite series. I have been lucky enough to have reviewed four of the books in this series. The stories are sweet, heartfelt, and satisfying. Everything from the characters to their connections to everyone and everything around them draw you in.
This story was a little different and interesting. You know from the start of each book, it has to do with baseball; however it’s the extra that gives the stories a kick. I love the way the samurai was entwined within the story. The vow Kaz makes to Sabrina at the end seals the deal. The story itself was everything I have come to expect from this series. I love Obaa. It’s always refreshing to have an older character share a bit of wisdom or vanquish demons. Whatever works, right?
As always, the characters weave in from the other books and really help make the story. The characters introduced with each book in the series are lovable and pull on your heart strings. From the day Sophia starts a little rehab therapy with Kaz, you know there is rocky road ahead.
What do baseball, actresses, and samurais have in common? Well, this amazing book of course. I definitely recommend Aim for Love to anyone looking for a romantic read. Up until now, I have stated they can be standalone books. Maybe I am just too wrapped up in the series now, but I highly suggest reading them all in order. You will enjoy them so much more. Congrats on another amazing addition to the series Pamela Aares.
