This Book Contains: 1- Novella, 1-Short Story, and 1-Full-length novel! Maggie Moore has been put on notice: Find a new place to live and a life for that matter. Spurred on by her mom’s ultimatum, Maggie sets out to fulfill her dream of Life & Style Stardom, a la Martha Stewart. After a colossal failure on her first assignment, which has nothing to do with crafting or curtains by the by, she finds herself fighting to save her career. Far from home, and struggling with the aftermath of a family death, Maggie’s already hard fought lifelong battle with Murphy, and his pride-stealing Laws, kicks into high gear. Her enigmatic world-renowned photo journalist currently sporting a chip-the-size-of-Mount-Rainier on his shoulder might have something to do with it. Determined to succeed despite numerous bumps along the way, Maggie throws herself – quite literally – into the heart of her assignments as she travels across the country, unlocking the oddities of various obscure sporting events and surviving the World’s Most Difficult Partnership along the way.

ABOUT MICHELLE GRAVES

I HEART BOOKS REVIEW

The Misadventures of Maggie Moore -- The Fear of Falling Flat by Michelle Graves
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: 5

Lots of laughs, a few stitches, and lots of chemistry...

OMG I loved this story!!! While I'm not accident prone like our heroine, nor have I ever suffered such as loss, it was so easy to connect with her.  I read late into several nights until my kindle smacked me in the face!!  And now a bit about the story...

Maggie's mom has given her a deadline... find a job and move out by the end of the month.  Her plan had been to be the next Martha Stewart, but a tragic accident put her plans on hold.  Now she has a job writing about football... a total fib on her part, but the editor loves her style. He gives her a second chance and it throws her right in the path of angsty John Cormick.  She not sure if she wants to jump on him our jump out of a plane to get away from him...

Favorite passages:
 - Reading seemed the only logical solution. Escape from my reality? Yes, please!
 - Alcohol impaired motor functions, and mine didn’t need any more impairing.
 - The man was a dark cloud of angst. I bet Eeyore was his first cousin.
 - “You hungry?” Nick looked me over, the heat still sizzling behind his eyes. Are you on the menu? Bad brain. Focus.
 - It was becoming almost comical, this overbearing brother thing he had with me. He was almost a caveman about the whole situation. No look at Maggie. I beat your head.
 - “This is beneath you.”“I could’ve had someone beneath me if it weren’t for you.”
