Her time is over. Things are looking up.
She’s dirty and ugly. He’s wicked but handsome. Six months to toy with her. Six months of vacation and a ton of money. I’ll hurt her beyond repair. I’ve been through much worse. She’s difficult to control and doesn’t obey. I’m done submitting to anyone or anything in this life. I should hate her. I should hate him. The game has changed. I will win. Dirty Ugly Toy is a novel that blurs the lines of right and wrong, deals with abuse, contains dubious consent, and adult subject matter. If you are sensitive to violent sexual situations, the book may not be suitable for you. Some parts of this book are not easy to read and are not intended for everyone. However, those that keep an open mind and stick with it will not be disappointed.

I HEART BOOKS REVIEW

Dirty Ugly Toy by K Webster
Review by Wennie Connedy
Stars: 5

Recently, I found myself reading quite a few books that didn't quite catch my attention; I was prepared to be disappointed with this one. I was ready to find a book full of mindless and pointless plot or story details. I was indeed prepared to be disappointed to find two-dimensional characters. I was not ready to have my mind blown by how good this book is.

This book had me under its spell from the get-go. K. Webster certainly knows how to get the attention of her reader, and keep it! She grabs you immediately from the first sentence and doesn't let go until the very end.

First, I thought it was a book about a sadistic man who takes advantage of weak and needy women. As you get comfortable with that premise, K. Webster takes you down a path that you didn't see coming. Suddenly, it becomes more. And as you ready yourself into a story about relationships, boom! It takes another turn to the dark side of relationships.

K. Webster certainly knows how to build momentum. She drops hints here and there, and when I thought I had it all figured out, she flips the premise and left me flabbergasted.

Her characters are flawed. They show their dark side. They show their soft side. They hide secrets, and they fight to keep their secrets hidden. They are human. And in spite of the desire to hate these characters, you cannot help but feel for them, pity them, understand them, and root for them.

This book is dark. This book is intense. This book is hard to put down. This book is one that you should grab. Now.

Note: A copy of the book was provided in exchange for an honest review.
