Surgeon's, Shifters, and Sage!!
Great read! Story moves quickly with a few surprises along the way. Scenes are well described - just like watching a movie reel! Can't wait to read book #2. And now a bit about the story...
Sierra is a busy surgeon in the big city, but Sean's (her brother) birthday is coming up. So she takes a few days off to head to the middle of no where for a visit. The place sounds as awful as it seems - Pine Barrens, she has no idea why so many people choose to live there. But as the fog descends and she hits Dylan (a very sexy looking, but at the same time creepy man) with her car, it will soon all become clear. There are secrets about to be revealed to turn her world upside down. Can her scientific brain handle it or will she remain in the fog???
Favorite passage: “Fine,” I muttered, “don’t let me help. It’s your thick skull, not mine.”

Brandy L Rivers is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. Her two main series are Others of Edenton and Others of Seattle. She has also written a couple contemporary stories. An avid reader, Brandy has always loved writing. She became serious about it as a stay-at-home-mother. Her secret lair, guarded by a pint-sized pound puppy who imagines himself a hellhound, contains a file full of manuscripts she plans to edit and put out with new creations she is constantly dreaming up.
