Ellie ~ Dancing was my life. I gave up everything, including my perfect boyfriend, to make it my priority until one day years later I realized I was homesick and alone. With dancing no longer an option, returning home was my only choice. They say everything happens for a reason, and when a new opportunity suddenly falls in my lap, I think maybe this fresh start is exactly what I need.
Holden ~ Six years ago she pushed me away, claiming we needed to find ourselves though I was content to love her just as we were. Life happens and I moved on with mine, but I never got over the girl who got away. She’s suddenly returned to start a new chapter in her life and although she is still pushing me away, this time I’m not letting her go.

I HEART BOOKS REVIEW
Save This Dance by Brooke Parker
REVIEW BY THERESA ESTERLINE
STARS: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Can I have this Dance?
Lovely and charming story about second chances. HEA contemporary romance with potential for series and cliffhanger for secondary characters. Based mostly in Texas, with a few trips to Florida and New York, the characters love their cowboy boots and tolerate the Texas heat! And now a bit about the story...
Ellie and Holden are high school sweethearts, until the go their separate ways at graduation. Ellie heads to New York and breaks up with Holden so he will follow his dreams to. Six years later and life hasn't turned out perfect so Ellie heads home. Her brother, Clark and her best friend Layne and one of his good friends Beckett all help her get re-adjusted. Of course she runs into Holden and then her sister Vivian enters from stage right ;).
Favorite passage: “Are you laughing or about to go crazy and take-off-my-head hysterical?” “You don't remember the red slushie?” His lips tilted up then. “Of course I do.”
Note: I was given a free copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.
About the Author:
Brooke Parker is a contemporary romance author who loves bringing quirky, lighthearted, and lovable characters to life.
With a background in education and years of practice as a stay-at-home mom, writing a book was never something Brooke thought to accomplish in life, but when the stories in her head took over, the words poured out. She’s hopeless when it comes to a good love story.
