What happened in chapters 10 - 14?
The oncologist in New York offers Raelyn a different option than the others - surgery. All of the other doctors, however, told her surgery was entirely too risky with the location of the tumor. Her initial reaction is absolutely not, but she tells Dr. Coleman and Damien she’ll think about it - but she’s not ready to talk about it yet.
When Raelyn returns home, she meets with the client, Annabelle Faye, who has a last minute issue. Damien comes storming in during their meeting, enraged about Annabelle’s presence. It turns out Annabelle Faye and Damien have an unexpected connection and he demands Raelyn leave with him right away.
Damien wants to get away with Raelyn, so he takes her on a surprise trip and won’t tell her where they’re going. She has a fever when they get on the plane and she ends up passing out for the entire trip. When she wakes up, they’re about to land - in Hawaii.
