Release Date: June 13, 2019

OTR Cover FINAL.png

On the Rocks, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by Kandi Steiner.
Noah Becker is nothing but trouble.
That’s what Mama told me when I was a kid, kicking his pew in church and giggling at the games we’d play. It’s what the town said when his father died and the Becker brothers went wild.
And it’s on repeat in my mind the day I walk into the whiskey distillery where he works to buy a wedding gift for my fiancĂ©.
He’s trouble.
Dirty, sweaty, rude trouble.
No matter how many times I repeat it, I can’t escape Noah in our small Tennessee town. And the more I run into him, the more he infuriates me. Because he sees what no one else does.
He sees me—the real me.
The me I’m not sure I’m allowed to be.
I’m Ruby Grace Barnett, the mayor’s daughter. Soon to be a politician’s wife, just like Mama and Daddy always wanted. Soon to fulfill my family’s legacy, just like I always knew I would.
Until the boy everyone warned me about makes me question everything, like whether the wedding I’m planning is one I even want.
Everyone said Noah Becker was nothing but trouble.
If only I had listened.
A stand-alone, contemporary romance.

Excerpt:
I watched from the sidelines as Betty schooled Noah on the final dance scene from the classic movie — and one of her favorites. Noah, bless his heart, took it in stride. He held her hands, spun her gently, even went under water completely to give Betty some sort of “lift” that made her feel like Jennifer Grey. That was when her smile was the largest — her eyes closed, face cast upward, arms out in the same iconic flight stance that the actress had done. If I wasn’t laughing so hard, I might have cried at the sentiment. After a dozen more run throughs, Betty called for a break, and the two of them swam up to the side of the pool where I sat. Betty took the lemonade I offered her, sipping and hollering across the pool at Mr. Buchanan — who was seated under the umbrellas. Noah rested his arms on the concrete edge, crossing them and resting his head on his forearm before he peered up at me through lashes still dripping with water. His eyes were an endless blue, the light from the pool reflecting off them like a tropical dream. “Enjoying your entertainment this afternoon, Miss. Barnett?” I bit my lip against a smile. “Very much so, Mr. Becker. I never knew you were such a great dancer.” “Oh, you should see me on the actual dance floor. I can two step and waltz and cha cha with the best of them. And don’t even get me started on what happens when ‘Watermelon Crawl’ comes on.” “I’m sure it’s quite entertaining,” I mused, still dangling my feet in the cool water. “When do I get to see your dance moves?” I barked out a laugh at that. “Um, that would be approximately… never.” “Never?” he asked, popping his head up off his arms with a look of injustice. “But you’ve seen all my moves, now. I show you mine, you show me yours. Isn’t that the deal?” “I never agreed to that.” He narrowed his eyes, running his forefinger and thumb over the stubble on his chin before he nodded. “I see…” Then, a wicked gleam came over those blue steel eyes, and before I could so much as scream, his hand wrapped around my wrist, tugging forward until I was off the ledge and under water. I popped up instantly, not even able to open my eyes against the chlorine yet before I was swinging at him. “Noah!” He laughed, catching my advances easily and pulling me into him. I blinked several times, shaking the drops from my eyes before I glared up at him. “You jerk. Mama’s going to kill me for ruining my hair.” “Mama will live,” he said, and then one arm wrapped around my waist, the other taking my hand in a leading position. “Now, let’s dance, little lady.” With one pull of my hand and push of my hip, I spun away from him, reeling back in like a yo-yo and falling in line with his steps before I realized what was happening. Surprise ripped through me, brows shooting up to my hairline as he somehow managed to smoothly twirl me around that metaphorical dance floor even with water hitting us waist deep. My feet felt sluggish, the moves slower than if we were in boots on a hardwood floor, but somehow, that made it even more fun. I laughed and laughed as he danced me around — until he had the bright idea to flip me like a swing dancer. I emerged from the water beating on his chest again, which just made him laugh harder. And when we were breathless, Noah tugged me to the side of the pool again. “Thank you for the dance,” he said, both of us still breathing heavily as he wrapped his strong, rugged hands around my waist. For a moment, he just held them there, the rough pad of his thumbs smoothing over my exposed hip bones. My smile fell, chest still heaving as my eyes slipped to his lips. I didn’t know why I looked at them. I didn’t know why I couldn’t look away. Noah swallowed, tightening his grip on my hips before he lowered in the water a little and helped push me back up onto the edge of the pool where I’d been seated before. Once I was steady, he released his hold on me, backing away with a distant look in his eyes that I couldn’t decipher before he tore them from me and looked at Betty, instead.

One rocky start...

If you love romance and whiskey you will love Noah and Ruby Grace!  They are angsty, good hearted, honest people who are drawn to each other.  With drama, deceit, and a little politics thrown in, you'll keep turning the pages.  Set in Tennessee around a whiskey distillery you never know what might happen next.  And now a bit about the story...

Noah loves his job, he makes whiskey barrels, and it is as much art as it is skill.  He also gets to sell the single barrel batches to those with money to burn.  When Ruby Grace comes in to buy a barrel for her fiance, their words get turned upside down.  How can this be the girl who used to kick his church pew.  And why can't he get her off his mind, she's engaged!  While Noah is being distracted, Ruby Grace is suffering thru planning her wedding, she thought this would be a lot more fun.  And then she overhears a conversation not meant for her that could change everything...

Favorite passages:
 - My mom would argue that the reason they stopped to stare was because I was "handsome enough to make a church choir stutter in unison."
 - "Every experience is an opportunity, no matter how trivial it may seem."

About Kandi:
Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal.
An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a diehard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.
When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys live music, traveling, anything heavy in carbs, beach days, movie marathons, craft beer, and sweet wine — not necessarily in that order.

The Two-Week Arrangement by Kendall Ryan *~*~*~*~* Blog Tour & Review

A steamy romance about a sexy (but emotionally broken) single dad and the smart, driven (doesn't take no for an answer) intern who makes him feel things he has no business feeling.

About The Two-Week Arrangement

Dear Sexy AF Intern, I know you don't particularly care that I'm the CEO of this company, and you're just an intern. I also know you're not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that's fine. You think you've got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don't know me. Not really. You don't know that I'm a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain. I'm not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we're in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I'm figuring out which I want more--to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk. While you're too disciplined to act on it, I'm not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

The Two-Week Arrangement by Kendall Ryan
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Once a liar...When you know you shouldn't...

What is it with the draw to do what we know we shouldn't.  It doesn't always even matter is it is dangerous.  There is a certain thrill to see if you can get away with it, or how long it will stay secret.  This workplace romance is a fast paced page turner.  You won't want to put it down.  From the nervous intern, to the sexy billionaire, the old school investor, the frat boy, the creepy coffee guy, so many fun characters to explore!  Oh and let's not forget the whole office rumor of prostitution!  And now a bit about the story...

Presley has just accepted an amazing offer.  She is intering at Aspen Hotels.  The plus side, if she crushs this she will be off to a great career start.  But it is a 3 month unpaid internship!  How will she eat?  And then there is her brother's school bills.  Dom, the CEO of Aspen and her mentor, has the solution just for her.  But will she take him up on his offer?  Can she really take money from him?

Favorite passages:
 - “Sure,” I say, fighting a smile. What is with this woman and her odd way of saying things? Her repeated use of sexual innuendo is apparently unintentional, which makes it all the more amusing. “Five minutes of your time tomorrow, then? Unless you can go longer.”  “I can go for as long as you’d like,” I reply smoothly.
 - “Ooh, your boy toy picked a classy place. Make sure you get one of their mango mojitos.” She starts swiping on foundation. “You’ve been there? Is the music super loud?” I ask. “No, Grandma, I promise you can hear yourself think.”

Well Suited (Red Lipstick Coalition #4) by Staci Hart *~*~*~*~* Blog Tour & Review

BT banner.jpg

Well Suited, the final standalone in the Red Lipstick Coalition Series from Staci Hart, is available now!

well-suited-illustrated-sm (1).jpg

Chemistry is my love language.
I’ve always been able to separate feelings from chemosignals. A shot of dopamine, a dash of serotonin, and a sprinkle of oxytocin—and bam. You’re in love.
And when egg meets sperm, you’re pregnant.
I couldn’t even be surprised as I stared down at the little blue plus sign, because I knew exactly when and how, and with whom it happened.
When: approximately five weeks ago. Who: one night stand. How: prophylactic malfunction.
The upside? I don’t have to go looking for a suitable mate.
Genetically, he’s the cream of the crop. His musculature is a study in symmetry and strength, his height imposing and dominant. He is a man who thrives on control and command, a man who survives on intelligence and resourcefulness. A perfect male specimen.
And the whole package is wrapped up in a flawlessly tailored suit.
I’m having this baby, and he insists we’re well-suited to have it together. And what’s worse? He wants more, in the way of love and marriage.
But love isn’t real. It’s just a product of chemistry.
And if he changes my mind about that, we’re both in trouble.

The perfect solution!

What happens when a control freak and a charming GQ hottie cross?  This rom com with lots of twists will entertain you to no end!  The last of the Red Lipstick Coalition ladies has met her match!  And now a bit about the story...

A few weeks after a hot one night stand Katherine comes to the scary conclusion that she is pregnant.  Being the ever so logical person she is, she heads over to Theodore's place to let him know.  Now the two come up with a plan, devoid of those pesky emotions - since they can't be controlled!  Only problem is, neither can seem to ignore the pull...

Favorite passages:
 - “Some people say I have control issues,”
 - “Playground rules. Boys who pull your pigtails like you.”  “Boys who pull my pigtails get black eyes.”
 - I’d tried to box up a tiger in cardboard, and it’d shredded the box the second it had the chance.

Junk Mail by Kendall Ryan *~*~*~*~* Blog Tour and Review

Junk Mail, a hilariously sexy standalone by New York Times bestselling author is live and available everywhere.

It all started with a sexy selfie. 🍆

A deliciously naughty, tell-everyone-you-know read!

About Junk Mail

It all started with a sexy selfie. Texted to the wrong number. Oops.  Not my finest moment—but I have nothing to be ashamed of. She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douche-bags she was never dating again. It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere—on the fiery and sharp-tongued, Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening. The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana. When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton , in case you're not tracking. And let’s just say she had my full attention. Brains? Check. Beauty? Oh yeah. And the best part? She hated me on sight. Dear God, do I love a challenge. Let the games begin.

The best way to meet someone new! ;)

Peyton and Josh star in this funny romantic comedy based in New York City.  Complete with a senior contingent and wine!! And now a bit about the story...

Trying to get laid has never been so easy.  Meet on a dating site.  Send some naked pictures.  Easy, right? Until you send that pic to the wrong number!! A number you start chatting with anyway.  Belonging to who you find out the next day is your potential new business partner and she's beautiful.  But you gotta keep it professional...

Favorite passages:
- Exhibit A is the monster in my pants demanding to be fed, so I’m willing to make some adjustments, both literally and figuratively.
- Nuts? Seriously, Hanson? Of all the words in the English language, you choose nuts? But hey, on the plus side, she hasn’t seen the boys, just their leader.
- And I can’t block the embarrassing thought that if Gram knew, she would be so proud.
- It figures that some dude over twice my age is getting more consistent action than I am.
- “The only men I want to talk to are Ben and Jerry.”

EXCERPT

After talking to Kenan for the last few minutes, and looking under his hood, so to speak, I’ve found that he’s a classic. They don’t make them like him anymore, and if I don’t change the subject, change the course of this conversation, I’ll fool myself that we don’t have to keep things simple and that we could be more than just friends, not just for the summer, but for a long time to come. As long as I’d like. “Okay,” I say, switching gears without a clutch and pulling a tie off another of Amanda’s racks. “I think that shirt could work really well with this tie.” He doesn’t look at the tie I’m holding up, but keeps his eyes fastened on me. He’s not playing along. I’ve boxed myself into a corner with him. And the quarters are too tight. His scent. His warmth. His intelligence. His thoughtfulness. He is pressing in on me, overtaking my good intentions in all the ways I never thought a man could. “Try this on,” I say, blindly shoving the mint green shirt at him. When I look at him, he’s already peeled one shirt off and is reaching for the one I chose. I didn’t think this through. Didn’t forecast that Kenan changing from one shirt into another would mean his naked chest. I lose my train of thought and all my chill. Besides my mouth dropping open at the sight of the sculpted terrain of his chest and abs, I give no other indication that he affects me. Taut, bronze skin stretches across his broad shoulders like supple canvas pulled over a frame, the foundation of a masterpiece. He’s a big man. Not bulky, but instead chiseled to the specifications of a master sculptor: arms roped with muscles, biceps like rocks under skin glowing with health. The forearms Chase raved about are lined with veins and sinew. And I die for a great chest. I’ve never seen one more spectacular than Kenan’s. Two words. Male. Nipples. Jesus, my mouth is literally watering at the thought of tasting them, sucking them, licking them. And if that pectoral perfection weren’t enough, the two columns of muscles, four each, are stacked over his lean stomach arrowing down to a narrow waist and hips. I can’t look away. I lick my lips, imagining how he would feel under my mouth. How I’d lick around his nipples and drag my tongue down that shallow path bisecting his abdominal muscles. I’d slip that belt off and sink to my knees. Unzip those pants and take him out. God, hold him in my hands and then take him all the way to the back of my throat. I’d choke on him. A man this big . . . I’d be so tight around him. “Lotus,” Kenan says, jarring me from my torso trance. “Should I go ahead and put this shirt on? Or did you need a little more time?” I snap a glance up to his face, embarrassed to find him laughing at me. Oh, God. I’m as bad as Amanda. I turn to leave, but he catches my elbow with a gentle hand and turns me back around, walking us behind two of the racks. He bends until he’s almost eye level with me. “Don’t be embarrassed,” he says, searching my face intently. “I’m glad you like my body.” “I didn’t say I . . .” My words trail off at his knowing grin. “Okay. So you have a nice body. I work in fashion. Do you have any idea how many great bodies I see on a daily basis?” “I’m sure many,” he says, his smile still firmly in place. “I can’t speak for any of them, only for the way you looked at me.” “And how do you think I looked at you?” I ask defensively, forcing myself not to look away. In the quiet that follows, his smile fades, and heat replaces the humor in his eyes. “You looked at me the way I bet I’ve looked at you every time you walk into a room,” he says, the timbre of his voice rolling over my sensitive skin like a caress. “Like I would eat you if I could. Head to toe, everything in between.” “Kenan,” I protest, closing my eyes on a groan. “We said friends. We said simple. This is not how you start a simple friendship.” His large hand cups my jaw and lifts my chin. I open my eyes, blinking dazedly at him. I wasn’t prepared for how his touch makes me feel. How I instantly crave more of it; want to lean into the warmth; to turn and trace his lifeline with my tongue. Tell him all the things I could discover just from reading his palm and looking into his eyes. How can such a large hand feel so gentle, like it’s capable of treasuring, cherishing? “Okay, Lotus,” he says, regret and reluctance woven around my name. “Simple. Friendship.”
