Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan *~*~*~*~* Release Blitz & Series Reviews

He’s bossy, moody, and overprotective. He’s also a pro athlete who needs to focus on winning games and staying out of the headlines. I’m fiercely independent and need a man like I need a second period each month. So when our worlds collide, I never expected him to be the one to jump in and save me. Especially not when my roommate disappears, leaving me with her baby. I’m clueless about babies—and it shows. Good thing Alexei isn’t. With six nieces and nephews and an apparent hero complex, the dude is both sexy and more than capable. It’s a combination that makes it easy to forget we’re just playing house.

I Heart Books Reviews
Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan

Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This little bundle of joy will tackle their hearts ...

I couldn't put this book down, started it before bed and finished it the next morning!  We first met Alexei in Dear Jane, he was a great supporting character, but now he's back in the lead role.  Lots of humor, some pride, sexual tension, and a baby!  And now a bit about they story...

Alexei's contract as a pro football player has just been renewed, but he's been warned to behave.  Ryleigh works at a topless bar and is trying to keep current with her bills after her roommate skipped town.  A few days ago her roommate showed up and left her with her two month old baby.  Now she's being hassled for sexual favors when Alexei happens upon her in full white knight mode.  Will Ryleigh accept Alexei's help?  Will Alexei accept her job and the baby?

Favorite passage: “But not you?” he asks, seeming amused by me. I wrinkle my nose. “Sorry, no. Sports don’t really do it for me. I’m more impressed you knew what a Boppy pillow is for.”

Note: I was given a free copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

** spoiler alert ** I could totally see this book becoming a movie. It was a great read. Everything flowed really well and you can see it all play out in your head like a movie.

Alexei is a pro football player. He steps in as a man to help out a woman with a baby that isn’t even hers. That’s rare now and days, but it happens. Alexei knows how to take care of a baby and treat a woman because of his family. He has a lot of sisters with kids, and he’s great at being uncle.

Raleigh is a likable character. It takes a lot for her to trust that Alexei’s heart is in the right place and she lets him in. She puts her pride aside and admits she can’t do it alone.

This story has some real life situations. I loved it. Very relatable at times as well. This book is definitely recommended for 18 years or older. Lots of great, steamy sex and cussing.
If you want a cute but sexy read, this book is right up your alley! Oh and there’s a HEA!!!!
