Love Machine by Kendall Ryan *~*~*~*~*~*~* Release Day Blitz & Review

A best-friends-to-lovers standalone romance from New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan.

She says she needs some help ... in the bedroom.

Come again? No, really come again.

Sweet, nerdy, lovable Keaton.

She's my best friend and has been for years. Sure she likes numbers and math, and thinks doing other people's taxes is fun. And I like ... none of that stuff. She's obsessed with her cat and reads novels I'll never understand, and yet we just click. There's no one I'd rather share breakfast burritos with or binge watch hours Netflix. She's my person. And so when she takes off her glasses and asks me to help her improve her skills in the bedroom, I barely have to think about it.

Of course I'll help her. There's no one better for the job.

I've been there for her through everything, why should this be any different?

But what happens when she's ready to take her new-found confidence and move on?

I Heart Books Review

Love Machine by Kendall Ryan
Review by Theresa Esterline
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Friends to Lovers, what could go wrong...

What happens when you take a strong and successful woman who has always focused on her goals - graduating, getting a job, getting ahead at work - and then try and compare sexual skills?   For our leading lady she comes up short.  So in this hilarious and hot comedy about getting the right sexual exploration training, she recruits her best friend.  I loved all the witty and snarky back and forth in this story.  Not only between the two main characters, but all the friends too.  And now a bit about the story...

Keaton is at her best friends bachelorette party and when the entertainment shows up it isn't the stripper you might be expecting.  Instead it is a class in giving the perfect blow job.  Unfortunately Keaton's less than stellar sex ed has her thinking it is spa day and immediately announces cucumber are better for eating then slices on the eyes and takes a big bite out of the vegetable.  What follows only makes Keaton decide more exploration is needed.  But with who? where should she start?  When a text comes in later than night from her best friend Slate she decides he will be the perfect instructor.  It may be her drunk self brave enough to ask, but will she actually go thru with it?

Favorite passage: "Don't worry, Keaton.  I doubt you'll make anyone's dick fall off ... Well, not unless you bite down that is."
